Daddy's last little home! What a blessing this was, thank God for Penny Womble. He loved his little house, I will miss it!
This was Christmas of 2013! I had gotten the Flu and he did not feel well so he was unable to come to our house to celebrate. We had one more year 2014 and that was our year to celebrate Christmas together, He LOVED Christmas as do I!
This shot was actually taken the night before his death as I sat watching tv beside him as he slept. Something just told me to take a couple of these. What a precious memory for me! In those last days and hours he would hod and squeeze my hand to make sure I was still there.
The night before, we had just been talking and he fell off to sleep.
When it was very close the night before I pulled this table up close for him just in case he woke up one last time, I wanted him to see us and his mama, Granny.
I had sat on the porch for a couple of days trying to get this shot of the butterfly. On the afternoon after his death and as I was finally leaving the house, this butterfly came back and for some reason lingered and lingered allowing me to finally get the shot I wanted! Thanks Daddy!
